The BSCES Board of Government is saddened to report the passing of BSCES Honorary member Morris Levy of Lexington, MA. Born and raised in Sudan, he immigrated to the US in 1960 to attend Columbia Universityand was awarded his MS in structural engineering with honors, after which he began his 43-year association with Parsons Brinckerhoff, a leading transportation engineering and management organization.. His career highlights included his work on the Harvard Square Intermodal Station project, the Boston Harbor Outfall Tunnel, the North Station Improvement Project, and most notably, the Central Artery/Tunnel (CA/T) project. Morris served as Parsons Brinckerhoff's principal in charge of the CA/T and was ultimately recognized with a History Maker award from the Boston History Innovation Collaborative for his leadership role in the overall management of this project.
