The Committee on Sustainability invites you to an informational tour of the Interdisciplinary Science and Engineering Complex (ISEC) Pedestrian Bridge at Northeastern University. This visually stunning link between Fenway and Roxbury is Massachusetts’ most recent recipient of an Envision award for sustainable infrastructure. The outdoor tour will be guided by project team members from design and construction with emphasis on award-winning features that enhance public space, promote future growth, improve public health and safety, minimize energy and light pollution, and use durable materials with recycled content.
Following the tour, the group will move indoors for a social hour at The Underground Cafe + Lounge. Reconnect with friends, meet industry insiders, and grow your network while enjoying catered appetizers and beverages, and cash bar service. Registration is limited to 46 attendees.

The Boston Society of Civil Engineers Section/ASCE (BSCES) requires any person attending a Society-sponsored in-person activity to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and to be prepared to provide proof of vaccination. In addition, any person who chooses to travel to and/or participate in any BSCES in-person activity assumes all risks arising from that decision. All participants must agree to comply with all safety procedures established by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as well as any other protocols put in place by BSCES, the host sites, travel facilities, or any other applicable authorities.
