This presentation will discuss the climate resilience work that The Nature Conservancy is engaged in within Greater Boston and resilience policy efforts underway at the national level, and will explore The Conservancy’s corporate partnerships working on resilience topics. The Conservancy has an extensive network of Risk, Reduction and Resilience (RRR) efforts in progress related to the benefits of nature-based solutions for people and biodiversity including mitigation of impacts from sea level rise and storm surge as well as watershed scale freshwater flooding.
This talk should be attended by anyone with an interest in Coastal Zone Management, Water Resources, Sustainability and Climate Change, including civil engineers, architects, planners, and state and municipal administrators.
