In celebration of Earth Day, BSCES and Structural Engineers Association of Massachusetts (SEAMASS) Younger Member Groups signed up to volunteer in an Earth Day cleanup event this Saturday, April 20, along the Neponset River in Quincy, MA. Join Neponset River Watershed Authority (NepRWA) staff and volunteers to clean up waterways and parks across the Neponset Watershed!
For those traveling on public transit, take the Red Line to the “North Quincy” stop. For those who plan on driving, there is parking available under the overpass where the group will meet.
Additional Notes:
1. NepRWA will provide trash bags, tongs, grabbers, any specialized equipment.
2. It is recommended that you bring hats, sunscreen, water, snacks, and any favorite work gloves (There will also be gloves on-site for you.)
3. Long pants and closed-toed shoes are recommended for terrain and poison ivy.
