Continuing a tradition of engineering excellence. Throughout its long history, BSCES has created special funds to honor the contributions of distinguished civil engineers by holding an annual or biennial event in their name. Events that special fund proceeds help support include the Bertram Berger Seminar (transportation focus); Thomas R. Camp Lecture (environmental engineering focus); Arthur Casagrande Memorial Lecture (geotechnical focus); John R. Freeman Lecture (environment and water resources focus), Ernest A. Herzog Presentation (infrastructure focus); Karl R. Kennison Lecture (hydraulics focus); Francis M. Keville Dinner (transportation and construction focus); Charles C. Ladd Memorial Lecture (geotechnical focus) and Joseph C. Lawler Lecture (engineering management focus). Upcoming BSCES special fund events appear in the events listings.
