Construction Institute Boston Chapter Holds Its First In-Person Event in Over a Year!

The CI Boston Chapter's Chelsea Viaduct Rehabilitation Site Tour on October 6, depicted above, was a great success for the group. Andrew Giocondi, the project manager from Skanska, came up with an arrangement that allowed the group to be completely outdoors for the entire event. Andrew led an hour-long presentation for participants complete with detailed visualizations that demonstrated their construction sequencing techniques. There were also commentaries from a member of the HNTB design team and the Howard Stein Hudson public outreach team. After these presentations, everyone walked around the site and was able to see the complicated and enormous structure up close. Thank you to Andrew and everyone who came to the event!
