Cranston (Chan) Rogers (1925-2024)

Members of the BSCES Board of Government are saddened to announce the passing of Lt. Col. Cranston (Chan) Robinson Rogers, who passed away on June 18, 2024 at 99 years of age. In addition to his distinguished service as a member of the US Army 103rd Division during World War II and Army Reserve, Chan was an accomplished civil engineer and part of many innovative projects. Chan was also an ASCE Distinguished Member, BSCES Honorary Member, and a past president of the Massachusetts Section of the American Society of civil engineers, which was absorbed into BSCES by merger.
