It is with a heavy heart that the BSCES Board of Government reports, Donald Goldberg, 92, died peacefully at home on Tuesday morning. An ASCE Fellow and BSCES Honorary Member, Don had a long and rich life, full of love, family, and personal and professional success. Don enjoyed an esteemed career as a civil engineer for 40 years. He began his career as a geotechnical engineer with Haley & Aldrich, before co-founding GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc. with his MIT classmate William Zoino in 1964. He served as the chair of both the BSCES Structural and Geotechnical sections. Don will continue to be an inspiration on how to live a life of integrity to his many nieces and nephews, surviving brother and sister-in-laws, and his many descendants. Click here to learn more.
