Nitsch Engineering, Inc., a Boston-based firm specializing in engineering, land surveying, green infrastructure, and resilience projects, has earned a National Recognition Award for exemplary engineering achievement in the American Council of Engineering Companies’ (ACEC) 57th annual Engineering Excellence Awards (EEA) for developing the Hilltop Campus Stormwater Master Plan for the District of Columbia Department of General Services. Nitsch provided civil engineering and planning services for the plan, which provides a holistic vision and long-term goals for managing stormwater, as well as opportunities for further improvements.
The project is among 203 entries this year representing engineering excellence from throughout the nation and the world. Recognition of all award winners will take place during the 2024 EEA Gala, to be held at the Grand Hyatt, Washington, DC, on Wednesday, May 15, 2024.
