With time running out, BSCES asks that members take a moment to recognize worthy colleagues, projects, and employers by submitting a nomination for a 2022 BSCES Section Award. Recipients are chosen by members of the BSCES Board of Government from among a group of deserving individuals in the Section or community who are nominated by their peers in recognition of their service. There are a wide variety of awards including those that recognize individuals for their technical expertise, community involvement and government service. Award recipients will be acknowledged and presented their awards during the 173rd BSCES Annual Awards Celebration in June.
Sharp-eyed members will notice that our awards list looks a little different this year. During the last twelve months, BSCES received two generous donations from the trustee of the liquidating trust for Stone & Webster, which was a renowned member of the Boston engineering community for more than 100 years. BSCES chose to honor the important contributions to the engineering profession from founding members Charles A. Stone and Edwin S. Webster by keeping their legacy alive as part of the Project of the Year Award.
BSCES members are encouraged to review the list of annual awards below and to nominate a colleague, friend or organization that deserves special recognition by downloading, completing, and submitting a 2022 Section or Employer Recognition Award Nomination Form on or before the submission deadline. Both nomination forms are posted here. You may contact BSCES Vice President and Awards Committee Chair Katie Swanson at Awards.Comm@bsces.org or 312-780-7885 if you would like to discuss a nomination or have any questions.
