The committee is charged with encouraging individuals, especially civil engineers, to become affiliated with ASCE and the Boston Section. The committee encourages the membership of college students, recent college graduates, Affiliate Members, non-subscribing ASCE members who reside within the Section area, ASCE members who have chosen not to renew their membership (delinquent status) and civil engineers within the district who are non-ASCE members. The committee does so by:
In addition, committee members may be assigned to attend scheduled BSCES meetings to distribute membership literature. At these events, membership materials are typically placed on the registration table.
